Isu PSM: Kementerian Sedang Kumpul Maklumat Daripada Sumber Ketiga

KLANG, 29 Sept (Bernama) -- Kementerian Belia dan Sukan sedang mengumpul maklumat daripada sumber ketiga berhubung dilema kemerosotan prestasi skuad sukan sepak takraw negara di peringkat antarabangsa.

Menterinya, Khairy Jamaluddin berkata maklumat berkenaan penting bagi mendapatkan gambaran lebih jelas berhubung masalah yang sedang melanda Persatuan Sepak Takraw Malaysia (PSM).

"Kita sedang kumpul maklumat daripada sumber-sumber ketiga untuk dapatkan gambaran lebih jelas berhubung isu ini," katanya kepada pemberita selepas menyampaikan hadiah Kejohanan Sepak Takraw KFC/Utusan Malaysia 2013 di sini hari ini.

Khairy dalam sidang media pada 13 Sept lepas, dilaporkan meminta Presiden PSM Datuk Ahmad Ismail supaya insaf melihat kemerosotan prestasi skuad negara di peringkat antarabangsa.

Malah, beliau percaya peminat sendiri dapat menilai kelemahan PSM dalam menangani kemerosotan prestasi skuad kebangsaan.

Sebelum ini, Khairy dilaporkan berkata kementerian itu akan menyekat peruntukan kewangan kepada PSM ekoran kekalahan memalukan pasukan negara kepada Korea Selatan di final Siri Super ISTAF di India baru-baru ini.

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed.
