Jersi baharu atlet Malaysia lebih 'garang'


KONTINJEN kebangsaan negara bakal menyarung jersi baharu 'Malaysian Heroes' yang baru sahaja dilancarkan hari ini.

Menurut Menteri Belia dan Sukan, Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar, rekaan terbaru dari Melinda Looi ini mampu menaikkan semangat dan identiti negara.

"Sudah tentu corak baju tidak boleh menentukan kemenangan," tulisnya di laman sosial miliknya.

Namun menurut menteri muda ini, "corak baju boleh menaikkan semangat kita sebagai identiti negara," katanya lagi.

Wira Malaysia atau Malaysian Heroes merupakan hasil buah tangan terbaru pereka fesyen terkenal Malaysia tersebut.

"Selama hampir 10 tahun, atlet kebangsaan menyarung uniform sukan bercorak belang harimau. Corak ini unik dan sekarang sinonim dengan Malaysia.

"Saya rasa sudah tiba masa kita memperbaharui corak yang sedia ada. Lebih garang, lebih dinamik, lebih menarik," ujar Khairy lagi.

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed.
