Jangan main kotor – Karim



Itu nada berang bekas Timbalan Presiden Kesatuan Olahraga Ma­laysia (KOM), Datuk Karim Ibrahim kepada individu dalam badan induk tersebut yang cuba melancarkan serangan peribadi ke atasnya menjelang pemilihan Mesyuarat Agung Tahunan (AGM), Sabtu ini.

Karim yang akan bertanding untuk jawatan Presiden KOM memberitahu, individu tersebut telah menjadi dalang untuk memburukkan dirinya dengan cubaan melibatkan Menteri Belia dan Sukan, Khairy Jamaluddin.

Semalam, satu laporan daripada hasil siasatan berhubung insiden atlet olahraga gagal ujian doping dua tahun lalu juga telah dihantar kepada Khairy pada sesi post mortem Sukan Asia 2014.
Tambah Karim, tindakan individu tersebut dianggap tidak profesional kerana cuba menghalang dirinya daripada bertanding.

Malah Karim berkata, pendiriannya tetap sama pada pemilihan tersebut iaitu tidak akan menarik diri daripada bertan­ding jawatan No. 1 KOM biarpun imejnya cuba diburukkan oleh individu yang dirahsiakan namanya itu, melainkan andai Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim mengesahkan untuk turut bertanding. 

“Bagi saya permai­nan yang cuba digunakan individu tersebut sangat kotor .

“Selain memburukkan saya dia juga merancang untuk melibatkan pihak di peringkat atasan seperti Menteri Belia dan Sukan (Khairy Jamaluddin).

“Saya percaya ini bukan cara terbaik untuk meraih perhatian Menteri.

“Beliau (Menteri) pastinya lebih terbuka malah mahkamah juga sebelum ini telah membuktikan bahawa saya tidak bersalah,” katanya ketika dihubungi Utusan Malaysia di sini, semalam.

Govt Always Gives Emphasis To Sporting Culture, Says PM

KUALA TERENGGANU, May 29 (Bernama) -- Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badaw i said the government always gives emphasis on cultivating a strong sporting culture in achieving excellence at the international level. Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed. FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the committee had decided not to charge Rajagobal after carefully analysing the video of the post-match press conference by the 56-year-old coach.
