Khairy Minta Penjelasan S'pura Berhubung Larangan Masuk Penyokong M'sia

KUALA LUMPUR, 25 Nov (Bernama) -- Menteri Belia dan Sukan, Khairy Jamaluddin kecewa dengan layanan 'berat sebelah' pihak berkuasa Singapura yang didakwa tidak membenarkan segelintir penyokong negara memasuki negara itu bagi menyaksikan aksi pembukaan Piala AFF Suzuki 2014 antara Malaysia dan Myanmar di Stadium Jalan Besar, Ahad lepas.

Beliau turut mempersoalkan mengenai kebanjiran warga Myanmar di stadium berkenaan yang turut dibenarkan membawa masuk bendera gergasi negara mereka.

Justeru, Khairy berkata beliau telah mengutus surat kepada pihak berkuasa Singapura bagi mendapatkan penjelasan mengenai perkara berkenaan.

"Walaupun kami menghormati prosedur negara asing, tapi saya memang tidak puas hati dengan yang diberi kepada penyokong bola sepak Malaysia.

"Saya akan maklumkan pada semua apa jawapan yang diberi oleh pihak Singapura dan apa respons kita nanti," kata Khairy dalam entri terbaru di laman Facebooknya, hari ini.

Khairy berkata beliau memperolehi makluman mengenai penahanan segelintir penyokong negara di Pusat Pemeriksaan Tuas di Singapura sebelum bermulanya perlawanan berkenaan pada hari perlawanan.

"Saya diberitahu bahawa penyokong-penyokong tersebut ditahan dan dilarang untuk memasuki Singapura, semata-mata kerana mereka ingin menyaksikan perlawanan bola sepak pasukan kebangsaan menentang Myanmar.

"Gambar notis larangan yang dikeluarkan oleh pihak Kastam dan Imigresen Singapura pun sudah tersebar luas di media sosial," jelas Khairy.

Perlawanan berkenaan berakhir dengan keputusan seri tanpa jaringan.

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed.
