Keselamatan Penyokong Malaysia Di Perlawanan Piala AFF Suzuki Di Hanoi Terjamin

KUALA LUMPUR, 10 Dis (Bernama) -- Kerajaan Vietnam memberi jaminan keselamatan penyokong Malaysia pada perlawanan separuh akhir kedua Piala AFF Suzuki 2014 di Stadium My Dinh, Hanoi, pada Rabu.

Duta Besar Vietnam ke Malaysia Pham Cao Phong berkata penyokong Malaysia tidak harus bimbang hadir menyaksikan pertandingan walaupun insiden kekacauan berlaku pada perlawanan separuh akhir pertama di Stadium Shah Alam pada 7 Dis, dikesalkan.

"Apa yang berlaku di Stadium Shah Alam dikesalkan dan kami amat sedih melihat rakyat Vietnam diserang...Tetapi kami ada menerima panggilan telefon daripada Khairy Jamaluddin (Menteri Belia dan Sukan)...Kami bercakap mengenai hal itu.

"Kami jamin bahawa bila penyokong Malaysia datang ke Vietnam, mereka dialu-alukan.

"Vietnam adalah negara ramah mesra dan Malaysia amat rapat dengan kami...jiran dan 'saudara' dalam keluarga Asean," katanya kepada Bernama pada majlis meraikan permulaan tugas Duta Vietnam ke Malaysia, di sini pada Rabu.

Phong diminta mengulas mengenai kejadian baru-baru ini di mana penyokong Vietnam diserang penyokong Malaysia, semasa perlawanan Malaysia menentang Vietnam.

Govt Always Gives Emphasis To Sporting Culture, Says PM

KUALA TERENGGANU, May 29 (Bernama) -- Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badaw i said the government always gives emphasis on cultivating a strong sporting culture in achieving excellence at the international level. Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed. FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the committee had decided not to charge Rajagobal after carefully analysing the video of the post-match press conference by the 56-year-old coach.
