Juara Berganda Tour De France Beraksi Pada LTdL 2015

KUALA LUMPUR, 27 Jan (Bernama) -- Buat pertama kali, juara berganda Tour de France daripada pasukan Team Sky (Bradley Wiggins pada 2012 dan Chris Froome pada 2013) akan mengetuai senarai pasukan dalam kelompok World Team pada edisi ke-20 Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) 2015.

Pasukan berkenaan akan disertai tiga lagi pasukan dalam kelompok World Team pada LTdL kali ini, iaitu Orica-GreenEdge, Astana dan Tinkoff-Saxo.

Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif LTdL 2015 Datuk Malik Mydin berkata pasukan-pasukan berkenaan adalah empat daripada lima pasukan terbaik di dunia.

"Kita bercakap tentang pasukan yang telah memenangi Tour de France sebanyak tiga kali, sekali Giro d'Italia serta dua Vuelta a Espana dalam tempoh tiga tahun lepas.

"Ia penghormatan yang besar apabila pasukan-pasukan ini berlumba di Malaysia," katanya dalam kenyataan pada Selasa.

Perlumbaan tersebut turut melibatkan penyertaan tujuh pasukan profesional benua, 11 pasukan benua serta pasukan dari Asia dan Malaysia.

Dianjurkan oleh Human Voyage Sdn Bhd, perlumbaan tersebut akan berlangsung dari 8 hingga 15 Mac, melibatkan saingan sejauh 1,000km daripada lapan peringkat.

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed. FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the committee had decided not to charge Rajagobal after carefully analysing the video of the post-match press conference by the 56-year-old coach.
